Job summary

Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia is seeking an Advance Practice Provider in hematology-oncology to evaluate and treat patients, administer advanced nursing care, and collaborate with licensed physicians to deliver high-quality cancer care.

The role requires a Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing, PA RN license (or MS Compact) and prescriptive authority; 1 year of clinical specialty experience is required, with 2 years as an NP preferred; 40-hour week, day shifts.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing or Doctorate in Nursing required.
• PA Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Compact RN License required.
• PA Nurse Practitioner certification required.
• Prescriptive authority required.
• 1 year experience in a clinical specialty practice required.
• 2 years experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treats and evaluates patients; administers advanced nursing care under the direction of the licensed physician.
• Performs diagnosis and prescription of medical therapeutics or corrective measures in collaboration with and under the direction of the licensed physician.
