Qualifications

• Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Illinois.
• Certification required as Adult-Gerontology or Family Nurse Practitioner (AGNP/FNP) or PA-C.
• Oncology nursing experience preferred; new graduates with oncology RN background considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in outpatient Hematology/Oncology settings.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications.
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis and treatment options.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $125,000-$140,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
