Job summary

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to tailor educational plans for daycare, preschool, and school settings. You will guide patients toward post-secondary education or vocational training, assist with resume writing and interviewing skills, advocate for students within educational plans, and support career goal

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education or social work is required.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in K-12 School Counseling, Teaching, College Counseling or support services.
• Valid Licensed Social Worker in the state of Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients who may benefit from educational services in clinics.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop tailored educational plans.
• Provide Daycare and Preschool orientations and coordinate with schools.
• Guide patients on post-secondary education or vocational training resources.
• Advise on resume writing and interviewing skills for students.
• Advocate for patients to incorporate test results into educational plans.
• Encourage career goal setting and provide personality/career inventories.
• Participate in youth initiatives, camp and transition activities.
