Qualifications

• Master's degree with a Clinical Nurse Specialist focus.
• Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree preferred.
• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• Current APRN/CNS license by applicable state requirements.
• Clinical Nurse Specialist Certification or eligible as required by state board.
• Maintains Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for health care providers.
• Five years of nursing experience with two years in the CNS specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to improve patient care outcomes within a designated population/specialty.
• Lead within the spheres of Patient/Client, Nurses and Nursing Practice, and Organization/System; participate in nursing leadership team.
• Adjust schedule flexibly to meet patient needs and CNS workload.
