Position Overview

IU Health Medical Group in the South Region seeks a hematologist/medical oncologist to join our experienced team. You will work with a multidisciplinary team utilizing advanced technologies and robust ancillary services to provide excellent patient care. Our Olcott Nurse Navigation team offers disease-specific advocacy and family support, partnering with the Cancer Support Community - South Central Indiana. This role allows for delivering cutting-edge cancer treatments close to home, with opportunities for clinical research supported by a team with 20 years of experience.

Position Details

• Full-time employment
• Monday - Friday schedule
• Call schedule: Every 6th weekend
• Workload: 95% outpatient, 5% inpatient
• Team: 9 physicians (Hematology/Oncology & Radiology Oncology), 3 advanced practice providers
• Practice locations include Bedford, IN (3.5 days/week) and Bloomington, IN (1 day/week)
• Opportunity to teach medical students with a clinical faculty appointment at Indiana University School of Medicine Bloomington Campus
• Accredited cancer center with COC, NAPBC, and ACR accreditation
