Hematology involves clinical and laboratory activities such as preparing and interpreting blood and bone marrow samples, analyzing blood samples, reviewing data for abnormalities, and prescribing treatments. It also includes investigating blood clotting biochemistry, assisting colleagues with test results, selecting analysis techniques, working with specialists, teaching, and maintaining detailed records.
