Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for a full-time role in Camden, NJ. APPs will diagnose and manage patient care, order and interpret tests, and provide education and care plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required for NP or PA licensure.
• NJ-APN/RN or PA license/certification required; BLS certification as applicable.
• Full-time position; scope defined by state practice acts and supervising physicians.

Responsibilities

• As licensed independent providers, APPs practice autonomously and/or in consultation with a supervising physician.
• Perform patient history and physical examinations to determine working differential diagnoses.
• Develop individualized plans of care and manage patient health needs.
• Order, perform, supervise, and interpret diagnostic tests and prescriptions as appropriate.
• Provide therapeutic measures and education to patients and families.
• Refer to specialists or collaborate in dual management as needed.
• Emphasize health promotion and disease prevention, and participate in research and education.
