Job summary

Jackson Physician Search is seeking a Hematology Physician Assistant for a respected community hospital in New York. You will see hematology outpatients, manage anemia and clotting disorders, and build a patient panel you know over time.

This full-time, Monday–Friday role offers sign-on or student loan repayment, CME allowance, paid malpractice, and full health and retirement benefits. NY license eligible; NAAC-certified PA and hematology/oncology experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• NAAC-certified PA.
• Eligible for a New York State license.
• Hematology or oncology experience preferred.
• New graduates with strong clinical rotations are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• See new and established hematology patients, both benign and malignant.
• Manage anemia, clotting and bleeding disorders, cytopenias, and long-term anticoagulation.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic workups.
• Monitor patients on infusion and oral therapy, and manage side effects and supportive care.
• Coordinate care with primary care, specialists, and the inpatient teams.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment plans, and follow-up.
