Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking a board-certified Hematology/Oncology physician for an on-site outpatient assignment in Massachusetts. The role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no call and no weekend obligations, in a hospital-based cancer center within an ambulatory clinic.

You will assess adults, see 0-3 new consults daily, and coordinate care with a team of 7 MDs and 7 APPs. All patient encounters are documented in EPIC EMR, following established clinical protocols.

Qualifications

The clinical scope encompasses the evaluation and management of general hematologic and oncologic conditions for an adult patient population, with 0-3 new consults anticipated per day; new consult appointments are allotted 1 hour and follow-up visits are allotted 30 minutes. All clinical documentation must be maintained through the EPIC EMR system for all patient encounters and treatment planning activities.
