Job description

An outpatient multispecialty group practice is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist for locum tenens coverage.
Tacoma, WA, situated on beautiful Puget Sound, has a wealth of cultural opportunities, outdoor activities, restaurants, parks, and wildlife. Point Defiance Park brings visitors and residents in touch with fine beaches, hiking through old-growth forests, botanical gardens, and historic sites.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with evening call responsibilities but no weekend coverage. The daily patient volume ranges from 17 to 20. Hospital privileges are required for the duration of the assignment, and the site uses OncoEMR for documentation and treatment planning. The provider will be supported by a team that includes MAs, schedulers, triage LPNs/RNs, social workers, financial counselors, and APPs who assist with treatment education. Board certification is required, and candidates must have an active state license or hold an active IMLC to be submitted.
