Job summary

Sanford Health in Michigan's central Upper Peninsula is seeking a BE/BC Hematologist/Oncologist to join our Oncology team in Iron Mountain. The position blends hematology and oncology (50/50) with 14 patient visits per day, a dedicated research program, and onsite pathology & radiology support.

You will collaborate with an established team, participate in clinical trials, and enjoy work-life balance with strong nursing support and no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with fellowship in Hematology/Oncology; board certification or eligibility.
• Active inpatient experience with at least 50 patients in last 12 months.
• Ability to obtain hospital privileges; participate in clinical research.
• Completion of ABMS/AOA or equivalent board certification timelines.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat and advise patients with cancer and related hematologic conditions.
• Admit and manage inpatient services where applicable; participate in multidisciplinary care.
• Engage in clinical trials and partner with path and radiology teams.
