Hematologist/Oncologist Position

Close to Columbus, OH

Adena Health System is seeking a BE/BC Hematologist/Oncologist Physician to join an established oncology practice in Washington Court House, Ohio. Adena Cancer Center has six Medical Oncologists, two Radiation Oncologists and four oncology Nurse Practitioners.

Practice Details:

• Full/Time-Four Day work week at Fayette Cancer Center
• Inpatient call 1:9 (supported Monday through Friday by a Nurse Practitioner).
• Dedicated infusion suite (with Oncology Certified insfusion nurses)
• Support staff: nurse practitioner, nurse navigation, scribe, and clerical staff
• Telehealth services for genetic screening, oncology dietician and social work.
• Adena Cancer Center is a member of NCI Community Oncology Research Program, and is accredited by the Commission on Cancer.
• The program is also actively pursuing ASCO QOPI certification in 2023.
• Radiation oncology services are ACR accredited.

Adena Fayette Medical Center is a Critical Access Hospital that is a subset of the larger Adena Health System. Adena Health System serves patients across nine counties in Southern Ohio. Adena offers a breadth of services such as breast surgery, interventional radiology, robotic thoracic surgery, and urologic surgery. These colleagues, amongst many others are available both for collaboration and to provide quality care to our patients close to home. Site specific tumor boards are available and occur weekly for multidisciplinary discussion including: lung, breast, gastrointestinal, and urology.

Adena Cancer Center is a member of NCI Community Oncology Research Program, and is accredited by the Commission on Cancer. The program is also actively pursuing ASCO QOPI certification in 2023. Radiation oncology services are ACR accredited and are located in Chillicothe, Ohio; approximately 30 miles from Washington Court House in Chillicothe, OH.

Fayette is also located 30 miles from the Columbus, OH metropolitan area. Recreational opportunities abound in this beautiful region of Ohio.
