Offshore Blaster Painter Helpers - Corpus Christi, TX

Gulf Island is seeking Offshore Blaster Painter Helpers to join their coatings team in Corpus Christi, Texas. These individuals will assist with painting and sandblasting operations on offshore structures, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The ideal candidates are experienced with industrial painting and blasting equipment, safety-conscious, and able to work in challenging outdoor environments.

What You’ll Need

• 2+ years of experience blasting / painting
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
• Must be able to pass background checks to company policy
• Valid TWIC card
• Highschool diploma or GED (desirable)
• Ability to lift and/or move 25 pounds and occasionally 50-75 pounds
• Standing, sitting, walking, stooping, kneeling, climbing, talking, hearing and seeing
• Turning, twisting and bending; pushing, pulling and reaching
• Knowledge and use of pressure paint guns, sandblasting hoses and nozzles, wet mill paint gauges, paint pots, air pressure compressors, protective blasting hoods and breathing respirators
