Job summary

Cherokee Millwright in Morristown, TN is seeking a multi-trade general laborer to support field crews. You will clean work areas, unload materials, prep sites, and assist with tool retrieval and basic tasks across trades such as millwrighting, pipefitting, welding, and sheet metal.

You will follow foreman directions, help craft workers with their duties, and be prepared to learn additional skills as needed to meet customers' needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Construction or manufacturing experience is highly desired but not required.

Job Summary

At Cherokee Millwright, we are a multi-craft company that focuses on the needs of our customers by providing multi-trades personnel to meet the customer’s unique job requests. Therefore, all field employees will be cross trained in various trades such as millwrighting, pipefitting, welding, sheet metal, civil, etc. The focus of this position will be responsible for assisting all employees by performing various tasks such as cleaning work areas, unloading materials, preparing jobsites, retrieving tools, and cleaning debris. However, it will not be entirely set to this specific skillset.
