Job summary

McNaughton Moving & Storage is seeking helpers to support the Van Foreman in packing, prepping, loading, transporting and delivering customers' household goods. You will travel to locations and assist in ensuring items are safely packed and ready for the move.

Responsibilities include loading and organizing loads, securing belongings before moving, unloading into designated rooms, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and move heavy objects and work on your feet most of the day.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Team player who can work in all weather conditions.

• Load everything into the truck or vehicle with the team, taking care to make sure everything is well organized and the load is properly distributed
• Secure all boxes, furniture, and equipment before moving
• Unload all boxes, furniture, and equipment, placing them in the designated rooms as noted by the owners
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment
