• We have an opening for part-time HELPER COOK positions.
• Location: USE/Conrad - 102 North End Avenue, New York, NY 10282 Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Part-time, Monday - Friday, hours may vary. Must be able to work nights and weekends. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Banquet experience required.
• Pay Range: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Assists in food preparation and cooking, maintains food safety and sanitation standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reads menu to estimate food requirements, orders or procures food.
• Prepares and cooks food according to recipes and standards.
• Adjusts oven, grill, and other equipment controls.
• Measures, mixes ingredients, bakes, roasts, and performs other cooking tasks under guidance.
• Tests food for quality, carves, portions, and garnishes.
• Prepares fruits and vegetables, butchers seafood and poultry, bakes bread and pastries.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in the work area.
• Interacts courteously with customers and coworkers.
• Ensures compliance with standards and performs other duties as assigned.
