Job summary

Carlisle Companies in Tyler, TX is seeking an entry-level Helper to assist operators on the production line. You will help with coil loading, palletizing, wrapping, and packaging, and you’ll perform quality checks to ensure correct lengths, widths and weights.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists operators at the coil loading and packaging ends of the line and as needed.
• Build pallets and shipping containers using hand and power tools.
• Band and palletize metal coils and/or metal sheets, placing tags/labels on finished products.
• Perform quality checks to verify proper lengths, widths, and weights are adhered to using the proper tools.
• Detects and reports faulty operations or defective materials.
• Moves or carries parts, equipment, or materials.
• Read and understand production orders.
• Wraps and unwraps materials.
• Housekeeping of work areas.
• Operates a sit-down forklift.
• Achieves production goals while complying with all safety requirements.
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
