Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the setup of equipment either by hand or machine.
  • Load, transport, unload and furnish experienced craft workers with materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Clean work area and restock supplies and materials as needed.
  • Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing journeyman’s tools and equipment.
  • Abide by the company Safety and QA/QC programs as well as OSHA rules and regulations.
  • The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.
Qualifications:
  • High School education or equivalent is required.
  • Previous on-the-job training on a construction site required.
  • Hand tools related to the specific tasks or craft are required.
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds frequently.
  • Must be able to climb up and down ladders, stairs, scaffolds, and other objects while carrying tools/equipment.
  • Must have the ability to stand or walk for long periods.
  • Must use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects.
  • Must have the ability to repeat tasks of short duration according to a set procedure.
  • Must be able to tolerate temperature fluctuations, loud noises, a dusty work environment, and be around high voltage electromagnetic fields.

This role is classified as safety sensitive. Candidates must show the capacity to proactively initiate, effectively lead, and consistently uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards. Compliance with this requirement is a fundamental condition for employment.
