Responsibilities

• Assist operators at coil loading and packaging ends of the line.
• Build pallets, bands and palletize metal coils or sheets with proper labeling.
• Perform quality checks for lengths, widths and weights.
• Detect faulty operations or defective materials and report them.
• Move parts and materials; read and follow production orders.
• Operate a sit-down forklift and maintain housekeeping.
• Meet production goals while following safety requirements.

Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assistsoperators at the coil loading and packaging ends of the line and as needed.
• Build pallets and shipping containers using hand and power tools.
• Band and palletize metal coils and/or metal sheets, placing tags/labels on finished products.
• Perform quality checks to verify proper lengths, widths, and weights are adhered to using the proper tools.
• Detects andreportsfaulty operations or defective materials.
• Moves or carries parts, equipment, or materials.
• Read and understand production orders.
• Wraps and unwraps materials.
• Housekeeping of work areas.
• Operates a sit-down forklift.
• Achieves production goals whilecomplying withall safety requirements.
• Will berequiredto perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

RequiredKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Mustbe 18 years or older.
• Ability to safelyoperatea forklift. Training and certification provided regardless ofpreviousexperience.

--This role is performed onsite at our facilitylocatedat 1005 Tonne Road, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007.

As a Helper, you will be entitled to the following:

• An Hourly Rate of$22.77
• A sign on bonus of $1,500 that will be paid in three increments:
• $500 paid approximately 90 days following hire date
• $500 paid approximately 180 days following hire date
• $500 paid approximately 270 days following hire date
