The Door Technician Helper supports lead technicians in the installation, service, and repair of commercial door and dock systems. This is a hands-on, physical role ideal for someone mechanically inclined who enjoys working in the field and wants to build a long-term career in the door industry.

Assist lead technicians with installation and service of commercial overhead doors, rolling steel doors, dock equipment, and operators
Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment on service trucks
Perform basic mechanical tasks such as measuring, drilling, fastening, and hardware installation
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite
Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times
Interact professionally with customers and jobsite personnel
Learn door systems, components, and service procedures through on-the-job training
Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Comfortable with physical work (lifting, climbing ladders, working indoors/outdoors)
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Construction, garage door, dock equipment, or mechanical experience
Electrical or welding exposure
Previous field or trade experience
Hands-on training in a skilled trade
Clear path for growth into a Door Technician role
