Apple Valley Waste is expanding and seeking a hardworking Helper to support operations in waste collection and recycling, working closely with our drivers and cross-functional teams. You will perform physical tasks, assist with truck loading, and help ensure safe, efficient routes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently assist the driver in picking up trash and disposing of it in the truck.
• Operate lever hand controls for hydraulic machinery when needed.
• Assist the driver with backing up the truck in tight spaces or difficult environments.
• Perform heavy lifting and assist with sorting and loading materials.
• Navigate through streets, alleyways, highways, and construction sites.
• Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Ensure proper disposal of trash and recyclables in the truck's designated areas.

Job Description

The Helper is responsible for supporting key operations within the waste management and recycling industry. This role contributes to the organization’s success through strong execution, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a commitment to safety, service quality, and operational excellence.
