Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are looking to hire someone who is dependable and active and has good communication skills to help in our home in the morning and in the late afternoon with kids (4-year-old son and infant daughter) as they get ready for and return from daycare and preschool. Specific duties include preparing breakfast for 4-year-old, helping him get dressed, brush teeth and pack any items needed for school in the morning, and in the early evening, preparing dinner, helping with kids' baths, washing baby's bottles and sorting/starting laundry. We would prefer someone with an early childhood or elementary education background who will be interactive, read books and play games (as time permits) with 4-year-old. Please note that we have 2 (friendly) dogs in our home, though care is not expected for them, please know that they will be around (in case of preference for/against dogs, allergies, etc.). Please be prepared to provide references.
