Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking a Help Desk Technician to support the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. You will assist end users, manage accounts for about 2,200 users, and resolve a range of IT issues.

The role requires a high school diploma, DoD 8570 IAT II readiness, U.S. citizenship, and a Secret clearance with TS/SCI potential; travel up to 10% and a strong service mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current CompTIA Security+ OR ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT II baseline certification within six months of hire.
• 2+ years of related work experience.
• Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop and end-user support.
• Create user accounts for approximately 2,200 active users.
• Assist with account management and password resets.
• Provide timely technical support to end-users via phone, email, or chat.
• Log and track support requests in the ticketing system; escalate as needed.
• Travel up to 10%.
• Follow policies and procedures within the IT management framework.
• Complete annual training requirements.
