Job Summary
The Help Desk Technician will assist with the installation, support and maintenance of servers or other company systems.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide end-user support, resolving technical issues and provides technical assistance for all Operating systems; Provide remote support through phone or end-user via phone;
- Set up new hires with equipment and appropriate access to the company’s system;
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment like printers, computers and servers
- Assist with the maintenance of the business software applications;
- Assist with the implementations, installations, configurations, monitoring, trouble shooting and evaluation of existing and new operating system;
- May confer with database programmers, analysts or other system administrators.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills And Abilities)
- High School diploma or the equivalent required;
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven experience as a help desk technician or IT customer support role is required;
- Associates’ Degree in directly related discipline or current CompTIA Certificates (A+, Network+ and/or Security+) may be considered in lieu of one (1) year of the required experience;
- Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control;
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products;
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues;
- Proficiency in English;
- Customer-oriented and cool-tempered.
Working Conditions
- Work is primarily conducted in an office environment (Private or Semi-Private Office) but also requires occasional travel to off-site work locations;
- Interaction with other team members, as well as supervisors and client personnel;
- Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection;
- May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis.

- Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities which permits employee to communicate effectively;
