Overview

Job Title: Front-End Software Engineer (Contract)
Location: Onsite (US-based)
Pay Rate: $35 per hour (W2 only)
Duration: 6-month contract (40 hours per week, potential extension)

Introduction

We are seeking a Front-End Software Engineer to join a team building advanced tools that help organizations and professionals create engaging content and expand their digital presence. This is a high-impact role where you will design and deliver scalable, user-facing features in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver new features and tools
• Contribute across the full development lifecycle: design, coding, testing, experimentation, and deployment
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on technical design
• Balance speed with quality while delivering high-impact solutions
• Help set team best practices and mentor junior engineers

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• 4+ years of professional, hands-on software development experience
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, ES6
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework: React, Angular, Vue, Polymer, or LIT
• Experience with CSS and building responsive applications
• Solid understanding of HTTP APIs, REST, and related protocols
• Experience working with distributed caching systems and large-scale data storage solutions
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment
• Strong communication skills for collaboration across distributed teams

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

• Familiarity with GraphQL or Thrift
• Experience designing and implementing maintainable APIs
• Exposure to Web Components
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguity
