Help Desk Support

Our client is looking for a dedicated IT Help Desk Support Specialist to join their corporate team and provide exceptional technical support to retail locations and internal users. This is a high-impact role where you’ll be the frontline of IT assistance—resolving issues, maintaining system uptime, and ensuring store operations stay smooth and efficient. It’s a great opportunity for someone who thrives on helping others and enjoys digging into technical challenges.

  • Location: Phoenix, AZ
  • Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $21-25/hour
  • No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide daily help desk support to retail stores and end users, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues
  • Log all help desk requests accurately, prioritize based on urgency, and assign them to the appropriate IT staff
  • Troubleshoot point-of-sale (POS) systems, software, phone lines, WAN connectivity, and store hardware
  • Assist with new store setups, including server configuration, POS deployment, and initial polling
  • Learn Level 2 tasks and support procedures to expand technical expertise and support capabilities

What Gets You the Job:

2 years of IT Help Desk experience, preferably in a retail or multi-site environment
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience supporting remote users within WAN and VPN environments
Basic PC troubleshooting and help desk ticketing system experience
Previous exposure to POS systems and retail technology is a plus
