ABOUT ROLE:
The IT Help Desk Specialist will support computer systems and users, including satellite offices, field communications locations and field operations. The Specialist will respond to issues with problem recognition, research and resolution steps. The Help Desk Specialist is the first line of computer support while working with other IT staff on more complex problems.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing technical support through phone, remote, and on-site during normal business hours.
- Monitor support ticket queue.
- Identify and escalate critical issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop/laptop operating systems, software, applications, and hardware.
- Install and configure hardware components (monitors, keyboard/mouse, printers)
- Manage and maintain inventory for all IT assets.
- Maintain hardware lifecycle management.
- Coordinate with other departments to understand and meet their needs.
- Manage, support and troubleshoot Conference/Meeting rooms equipment.
- Manage and support phone system (DialPad).
- Create and configure user accounts in Active Directory and other applications (Acumatica).
Experience and Qualifications:
- Active Directory user configuration and management.
- Azure Entra, Exchange, and Office365 Admin experience.
- Understanding of Anti-Virus and Anti-Malware Solutions, backup solutions, VPN configurations.
- Network troubleshooting.
- Print server and printer configuration.
- Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently, multi-task and adapt to frequent changes.
- Great customer service skills.
Other Desirable Qualifications:
- Azure Entra, Exchange Admin, and Office 365 Admin experience.
- UniFi, Acumatica, and DialPad experience a HUGE PLUS.
