Job summary

David Clark Company, located in Worcester, MA, seeks a Utility Technician to support full-pressure helmet production from shell lay-up to final testing. The role includes assembly, testing, overhaul, and inventory management for helmet assemblies and related life-support equipment.

Responsibilities also cover visor/sunshade production, use of hand and power tools, and cross-training with Engineering, QA, and inspectors. Strong reading of drawings and precision measurement are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1-3 years' related training or experience ideal.
• Experience with life support / flight equipment training is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow procedures and test instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, and test high-altitude helmets and related hardware.
• Perform overhaul and repairs to helmets and components; conduct leak and pressure tests.
• Support visor and sunshade production through fabrication and testing of finished goods.
• Maintain workspace, record-keeping, and inventory of materials used in production.
• Cross-train in other life support equipment areas and collaborate with Engineering and QA.
