Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Helicopter Pilot Supervisor based in Louisiana, MO to lead base pilots, manage duty schedules, and ensure safe, compliant flight operations across EMS missions.

The role emphasizes training, base coordination with the Regional Director of Flight Operations, and timely logging of flight data, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency in rotorcraft operations.

Qualifications

• 2000 hours total flight time
• 1500 hours helicopter time
• 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
• 500 hours turbine
• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates pilot scheduling with the Regional Director of Flight Operations
• Coordinates flight planning activities and resources for mission support at the base
• Conducts local area orientations for all new hire pilots
• Coordinates aviation activities for public relations events
• Reviews and submits monthly flight/duty logs to the Regional Director
• Monitors pilots and assists in day-to-day flight and administrative issues
• Submits payroll grids to the Regional Director of Flight Operations
• Operates aircraft safely in accordance with Rotorcraft Flight Manual
• Monitors weather and forecasts; conducts preflight inspections
• Reports rested and prepared for duty, stays current with weather changes
