Job summary

A leading medical air transport service in Salinas, California, is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. This role offers a starting salary of $124,263-$136,689, with additional bonuses including a $15K sign-on and a $40K retention bonus after 36 months. Candidates must hold a Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, a Helicopter instrument rating, and have significant flight hours. Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described.
• Maintain accurate Company and regulatory documentation.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch and partners.
• Provide shift change information to successive pilot and team.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Skills

• Starting salaries from $124,263-$136,689. including 40% Geo Modifier
• IFR Allowance adds another 5K

• 40K Retention Bonus after 36 Months in the GMR Pilot Retention Bonus Plan

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities

• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Company requirements, and maintain aircraft cleanliness

• Maintain accurate Company and regulatory documentation and record keeping

• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners

• Provide shift change information to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Company change board details

• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate

• Helicopter instrument rating

• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate

• 2,000 helicopter flight hours

• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours

• 1,000 turbine hours

• Minimum 100 cumulative hours of instrument flight time

• Minimum 200 helicopter night hours (aided and/or unaided)

Aircraft Experience

• Previous Airbus EC135/H135 or similar aircraft experience preferred, but not required.
