Job summary

Global Medical Response seeks a Helicopter Pilot to provide essential medical air transportation for REACH Air Medical Services. Applicants must hold a current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, meet specific flight hour requirements, and possess a Class II Medical Certificate. The position offers a unique opportunity in the air medical transport service.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
• 2,000 helicopter flight hours.
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours.
• 1,000 turbine hours.
• Minimum 100 cumulative hours of instrument flight time.
• Minimum 200 helicopter night hours (aided and/or unaided).
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches and maintain aircraft cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate Company and regulatory documentation.
• Effectively communicate with dispatch, flight crews, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to successive pilot.

• Starting salaries from $119,825-$131,807 including 35% Geo Modifier
• 5K SPIFR Stipend
• 15K Sign-On Bonus after training!
• 40K Retention Bonus after 36 Months in the GMR Pilot Retention Bonus Plan
• Off-Duty Housing is provided
• 7/7 Schedule

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Company requirements, and maintain aircraft cleanliness
• Maintain accurate Company and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change information to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Company change board details
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 2,000 helicopter flight hours
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours
• 1,000 turbine hours
• Minimum 100 cumulative hours of instrument flight time
• Minimum 200 helicopter night hours (aided and/or unaided)
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear

Aircraft Experience:

• Previous Airbus EC135/H135 or similar aircraft experience preferred, but not required.
