Job summary

Global Medical Response in California seeks a HAA Pilot for a full-time role with REACH. You will ensure aircraft readiness, comply with FAR/REACH requirements, and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners to transport customers safely.

Eligible candidates hold a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, rotorcraft instrument rating, FAA Class II Medical, and substantial helicopter hours.

Qualifications

• Must hold rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate and helicopter instrument rating.
• Requires FAA Class II medical certificate and extensive flight hours.
• Includes instrument and night flight time requirements.
• Experience with rotorcraft and turbine helicopter operations preferred.
• EC135/H135 familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with medical team to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness per manuals, FAR/REACH requirements, and perform cleanliness duties.
• Maintain REACH and regulatory documentation and records accurately.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift-change information following protocol for REACH changes.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

• Salary Range: $ 110,949- $ 122,044 including 25% Geographic Modifier
• 15K Sign-On Bonus, subject to eligibility
• Retention Bonus plans ($40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)
• 5K SPIFR Stipend
• 12K Area Float Pilot Stipend

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and REACH requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate REACH and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording REACH change board details
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training
