Air Evac Lifeteam in Fayette, AL is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to provide emergency medical air transportation. You will work with a medical team to transport patients safely and ensure aircraft readiness for dispatch, following FAR and company standards.

The role requires extensive flight hours and the ability to maintain regulatory documentation, with a 7/7 schedule, housing provided on duty, and a $15,000 sign-on bonus plus retention bonuses after set milestones.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• 2,000 total flight hours required.
• 1,500 helicopter hours required.
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours required.
• 500 turbine helicopter hours required.
• 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours night unaided with 100 hours aided.
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear.

Responsabilités

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals, FARs, and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements.
• Maintain accurate AEL and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team following recording protocols.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
