Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transport through Air Evac Lifeteam. You will work with a team of medical experts to safely transport patients and ensure aircraft readiness while adhering to FARs and company policies.

Strong documentation and coordination with dispatch and flight crews are essential. The role offers a $15,000 signing bonus (eligibility), retention bonuses, on-duty housing, and a 7/7 schedule.

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• Minimum 2,000 total flight hours.
• Minimum 1,500 helicopter hours and 1,000 PIC hours.
• Night flying: 100 hours unaided or 50 unaided with 100 aided.
• Weight limit of 230 pounds with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with a team of medical experts.
• Ensure aircraft readiness and comply with FARs and company standards.
• Maintain accurate regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, and facilities.
• Provide shift-change information and maintain change-board records.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
