Job summary

Med-Trans is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services for its customers. You will work with a team of medical professionals to transport patients safely, maintain aircraft readiness, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires extensive flight hours and current rotorcraft certificates. The position offers a 7/7 schedule, on-duty housing as applicable, and incentive programs including a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a $5,000 IFR stipend, plus retention bonuses

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours.
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours.
• 200 Helicopter Instrument Hours (Actual/Hood/SIM) 50 WX in Aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with a medical team to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals and FAR/Med-Trans requirements.
• Maintain MTC and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift change info to the next pilot following recording protocols.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

We’re hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to Med-Trans customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate MTC and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours

• 200 Helicopter Instrument Hours (Actual/Hood/SIM) 50 Hours Actual WX in Aircraft

Preferred Qualifications

• EC135 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
