Job summary

Med-Trans, a leader in air medical transport, is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to provide critical medical air transportation to patients. The role requires precise coordination with medical teams, dispatch, and flight crews to ensure safe, on-time patient transport across locations.

The position offers a competitive salary range and sign-on bonus, along with housing support and a 7/7 schedule. Candidates must meet FAA rotorcraft commercial, instrument, medical certs, and experience hours as listed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current rotorcraft FAA Commercial certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Must have a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• Total flight hours and helicopter hours as specified.
• PIC and turbine hours preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate

2,000 Total Flight Hours

1,500 Helicopter Hours

1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours

• Salary Range: $88,759 – $97,635
• 15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility
• Retention Bonus plans ($40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)
• On Duty Housing
• 7/7 Schedule

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties

Preferred Qualifications

• B407 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
