Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services, partnering with medical experts to transport patients safely between locations and facilities. You will ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch, comply with FAR and company requirements, and maintain accurate records throughout shifts.

The role requires current rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, helicopter instrument rating, FAA Class II Medical Certificate, and substantial flight hours

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating is required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• Total flight hours requirements include 2,000 total hours with 1,500 helicopter hours, 1,000 PIC hours, and 500 turbine hours.
• Night flight hours (100) required, with or without night vision aids.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to transport customers safely to and from locations.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, and maintain aircraft cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information to the next pilot and team following recording protocols.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
