Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to deliver medical air transportation in a high-stakes environment. You will fly rotorcraft with a 7/7 schedule and on-duty housing, collaborating with medical teams and dispatch to ensure safe patient transfers.

Minimum qualifications include a FAA rotorcraft commercial certificate, instrument rating, and a current Class II medical, along with extensive helicopter flight hours. A sign-on bonus and retention bonuses are offered to eligible pilots.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 total flight hours.
• 1,500 helicopter hours.
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours.
• 500 turbine helicopter hours.
• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided.
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with the medical team.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals and FAR/AEL requirements.
• Maintain accurate regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information to the next pilot and team.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
