Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Helicopter Pilot for full-time HAA/HEMS medical air transportation. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and regulatory compliance.

You will ensure aircraft readiness, document flight data, and coordinate with dispatch and facilities to deliver life-saving services. Candidates must hold a rotorcraft commercial certificate, helicopter instrument rating, and FAA Class II Medical, with thousands of flight hours including turbine experience.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter Instrument Rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours required.
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours required.
• 500 Helicopter PIC Hours required.
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours required.
• 100 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers with a team of medical professionals.
• Maintain aircraft readiness for flight dispatch and adhere to FARs and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements.
• Keep accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information to the next pilot and team following change-board procedures.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

We’re hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to Air Evac Lifeteam’s customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateAir Evac Lifeteam and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingAir Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training
