Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Helicopter Pilot for its HAA/HEMS operations. You will transport customers with a team of medical experts, ensuring aircraft readiness, regulatory compliance, and accurate record-keeping.

The role demands current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate, instrument rating, Class II medical, and substantial helicopter flight hours including PIC time. This full-time position offers bonuses and incentives, with a potential total compensation up to $245,000 and housing

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II medical certificate required.
• Minimum: 2,000 total flight hours and 1,500 helicopter hours.
• 500 helicopter PIC hours and 100 night flight hours minimum.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely as part of a medical air transport team.
• Ensure aircraft readiness and comply with FAR and company requirements.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and records accurately.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift-change information and maintain training compliance.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

We’re hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to Air Evac Lifeteam’s customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Air Evac Lifeteam change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 500 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
• 230 lb Weight Limit (including flight gear)
