Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in London, KY seeks a HAA Pilot for a full-time medical air transport role. You will join a team of medical experts to move patients safely and ensure aircraft readiness, with strict adherence to FARs and company procedures.

Strong documentation, communication, and ongoing training are essential. Required rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate, instrument rating, FAA Class II Medical, and extensive flight hours.

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate is required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• Minimum 2,000 total flight hours.
• Minimum 1,500 helicopter hours.
• Minimum 1,000 helicopter PIC hours.
• Minimum 500 turbine helicopter hours.
• Minimum 100 helicopter night flight hours.
• 230 lb weight limit including flight gear.
• BH429 Aircraft Experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent or Higher required.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches in manuals and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties.
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Air Evac Lifeteam change board details.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
