Job summary

Airbus Helicopters, Inc. seeks an experienced Pilot to join our Flight Operations team in the Dallas area. You will deliver top-tier ground school instruction (75%) and advanced flight training (20%), while conducting production test flights, ferry missions, and customer demonstrations.

The role requires extensive instructional experience, FAA certifications, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments. Travel and classroom collaboration with translators are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Five years flight experience.
• Minimum 2000 PIC hours in helicopters (≥500 turbine).
• 100+ hours in last 12 months.
• FAA First or Second Class Medical Certificate, Commercial helicopter license, IFR rating, and CFI rotorcraft.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ground and flight instruction for customer personnel.
• Receive and update flight manuals; screen service bulletins and update training curriculum.
• Set up classrooms and training resources.
• Perform flight training as an instructor pilot with transition and recurrent students; evaluate maneuvers.
• Prepare monthly flight logs and reports; ensure FAA compliance in all Flight Operations assignments.
• Coordinate flight results with QA, Flight Line and Flight Operations personnel.
• Pilot aircraft for demonstration flights to assist Marketing.
• Support other Flight Operations missions as required.
