Job summary

Safran Helicopter Engines is the world leader in helicopter engines and the only manufacturer to specialise exclusively in this market. We seek a Helicopter Engine Maintenance Technician to conduct induction inspections, evaluation, maintenance, repair, assembly and release activities on Safran engines.

You will work at our Fareham facility and, when required, at customer sites, following approved maintenance data and aviation regulations.

Qualifications

• Recognised Aerospace Engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Comprehensive knowledge of aviation maintenance regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Good computer literacy and the ability to maintain accurate digital records.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Induction & Evaluation: perform comprehensive incoming engine inspections, review logs, verify TSOs/CSOs/LLPs.
• Level 1 Maintenance: carry out visual/borescope inspections, cleaning, checks, and small replacements.
• Level 2 Maintenance: engine strip activities, module replacement, defect inspection and reporting.
• Level 3 Maintenance: major maintenance, engine disassembly and module overhaul support.
• Documentation & SAP: maintain records, update work orders, traceability, and release documentation.
• Release: verify completion, ensure configuration control for shipment or testing.
