Summit Helicopters, Inc. is seeking a Chief Pilot with extensive firefighting, long line, and training experience. The role oversees pilot qualifications, scheduling, and compliance for a multi-operations fleet in Virginia.
Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential for daily operations and customer interaction. The position includes interaction with our 145 repair station, RTS maintenance flights, and responsibility for maintaining flight documentation and operational readiness.
Job Summary
Summit Helicopters, an employee-owned company, is currently seeking candidates for Chief Pilot. Summit Helicopters, Inc. conducts a variety of operations ranging from Part 91/133/135/137, forestry spraying and DOI Firefighting. The candidate must have an extensive background in firefighting, long line/external load, utility/powerline, conducting/scheduling training and customer interaction. The candidate will also be responsible for RTS maintenance flights for our 145 Repair Station. Considerable flight time must have been achieved in Bell 206B, 206L, 407, 205, UH1H, 412 and 429 airframes.
