Date Available: This position is available commencing with the 2025-2026 school year.

Qualifications:
CT teaching certification in Special Education K-12.
Masters Degree preferred
Prior experience working with adolescents is preferred
Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be flexible, creative, and demonstrates strong organizational skills
Must be highly motivated and self-directed
Prior experience with CT-SEDS (our digital IEP/504/MTSS platform) is highly preferred
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with individual student teams\
Provide Case Manager services, including development, implementation, and monitoring of IEP goals and objectives; liaison with general education teachers; communication with home; running Team meetings.
Attend PPT’s and other meetings for assigned students and present up to date information on progress toward goals and objectives
Conduct and present educational testing results, using this information to review and revise current IEP goals and objectives
Collect and manage data pertaining to various student goals and objectives
Ensure that all related services and class accommodations are being implemented in the appropriate settings
Participate in professional development and other meetings with the special education department and school-wide faculty
Adapt and modify curriculum materials and instructional approaches; serve as a resource to the general education staff in regards to working with a diverse learner population
Implement and monitor behavior support and incentive plans for assigned students
Testing and instruction at the middle and elementary schools may be required.
