Job summary

Medix is seeking experienced Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses for a January–April contract to support HEDIS and healthcare quality initiatives. The role focuses on medical record review, data abstraction, and chart abstraction rather than direct patient care.

Candidates should have NY RN or LPN licenses, 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience, and experience with HEDIS or quality measures. The work requires meticulous attention to detail and ability to work with multiple EHR

Qualifications

NY RN license required; BSN preferred.
HEDIS experience required.
2–3 years of clinical nursing experience.
Experience reviewing and interpreting medical records.
Proficiency with multiple electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

Conduct detailed medical record reviews to identify information relevant to HEDIS measures.
Abstract required clinical data according to HEDIS specifications.
Determine whether documentation meets numerator compliance for measures.
Identify care gaps and opportunities to improve quality performance.
Maintain accurate data in HEDIS/QMS systems.
Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and regulations.
