Long Ridge Partners is seeking an Investment Analyst to join a top-tier industrials-focused equity team at a $16bn global multi-strategy hedge fund. The role centers on rigorous fundamental research and building valuation models to drive alpha for clients.

You will perform in-depth analyses of publicly traded industrials, generate data-driven investment theses, and support portfolio decisions with market insights and due diligence.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of work experience in equity research or investment banking
• Excellent academic credentials, Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably within a finance, economics or mathematics discipline
• Experience in conducting research and due diligence, and producing “client ready” investment materials
• Strong quantitative aptitude with a high attention to detail

Responsibilities

• In-Depth Research: Conduct rigorous fundamental analysis on publicly traded industrials, evaluating financial statements, market trends, and competitive positioning.
• Asset Valuation: Develop comprehensive valuation models to assess intrinsic value of industrial stocks, utilizing DCF, comparable analysis, and NAV.

• Idea Generation: Identify compelling investment opportunities within the industrial sector, producing well-reasoned and data-driven investment theses.

As a Public Equity Investment Analyst with a specialized focus on industrial stocks, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the investment strategy and driving performance in this sector.
