Deutsche Bank AG in New York seeks a Senior Credit Officer to provide expert credit analysis and comprehensive risk management oversight for hedge fund clients. You will conduct counterparty due diligence, assess investment strategies, determine risk appetite, and establish appropriate credit, financing, and derivatives limits.

Reporting to the Head of Funds, you will manage a portfolio of hedge fund counterparties, challenge assumptions with independent judgment, and participate in governance

Qualifications

• Provide expert credit analysis for hedge funds.
• Assess investment strategies and risk management frameworks.
• Lead credit due diligence and approve complex transactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead credit due diligence and risk assessment for hedge fund relationships.
• Own credit decision-making for an assigned portfolio with delegated authority.
• Evaluate and approve complex transactions across derivatives, financing and securities products.
• Lead the credit risk aspects in negotiating trading and financing documentation (ISDA, CSAs, GMRA).
• Maintain senior-level oversight of portfolio risk and collateral monitoring.
• Partner with Front Office, Sales, Trading, Legal, Operations and Collateral Management.
• Act as a senior independent risk decision-maker and provide credible challenge.
