Qualifications

Job description

A top Investment client has a need for an Alternative Investment Audit Analyst to help oversee annual audit and financial reporting activities for a book of alternative funds, including detail review of balance sheet, income statement, statement of changes and consolidations. Ideal candidate will come out of Public Accounting with financial services clients.

• The Hedge Fund Audit Analyst will oversee and/or perform annual audit and financial reporting activities for a book of hedge funds.


• Possible support for audit-related projects


• Provide feedback for process improvement efforts identified in completing assignment


• Provide feedback on technical subject matters from past work experience


• Financial Reporting, Financial Statement Preparation, and/or Auditing


• Complex Funds (Hedge Funds, difficult mutual funds, master feeders, side pockets, etc.)


• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently


• Strong problem solving and analytical ability


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, work on multiple tasks while under pressure and tight deadlines

Qualifications
