Job summary

Northbound Executive Search is recruiting for a prestigious hedge fund with about $22 billion AUM. The Fund Accountant will handle monthly closes, prepare statements, and calculate capital calls, working closely with the fund's controller and senior management.

Ideal candidates have 1–6 years of fund accounting experience, an accounting degree (CPA a plus), advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, H-Lookups; VBA a huge plus). Salary ranges from $75,000 to $90,000.

Prestigious hedge fund with approximately $22 billion AUM, is seeking a Fund Accountant to join their growing team! This is an amazing opportunity to join a rapidly growing fund and work closely with senior management! Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, monthly close, preparing monthly statements, and calculating capital calls, along with any other ad-hoc requests from the fund’s controller.

Job Responsibilities:

• Fund Accounting responsibilities for Credit Funds
• Preparing monthly close/financial statement preparation
• Calculating NAV (Net Asset Value)
• Daily and cash reconciliations
• Working with auditors to prepare and present year-end financial accounts
  

Job Requirements:

• 1-6 years of Fund Accounting experience (buy-side experience is strongly preferred)
• Accounting degree (CPA is a big plus)
